Special design: direct transmission mounting
The motors with “oil proof flanges“ can be fitted directly to transmission units. The shafts of these motors are sealed with radial sealing rings according to DIN 3760. The sealing ring must be oil spray- or mist lubricated. The motors up to frame size 315 are fitted with fixed bearing on the drive side, in order to limit the thermal expansion of the rotor into the transmission. For most direct transmission mounting, adapted shafts and flanges are required. The mounting orientation is mainly B5.
