From frame size 63, external brakes in flameproof enclosure can be fitted as separately certified equipment. The motors with external brakes are available with brake torque in the of range 5 - 1200 Nm in explosion-proof version II 2G and II 2D. Rated voltage supply up to 690 V with connection in a separate box is possible.
